About the Job
Field Technician - Water Damage & Mold Remediation.
We are currently hiring additional field technicians for water damage mitigation, mold remediation, demolition, and restoration-related work. Physical labor experience is required.
Job Duties Include:
- Water extraction and dry-out setup.
- Mold remediation and containment setup.
- Demolition and removal of damaged building materials.
- HEPA vacuuming, cleaning, and sanitizing.
- Setting up drying equipment and containment barriers.
- Job site cleanup and hauling debris/materials.
- Occasional specialty cleaning projects.
Physical Demands:
This is a physically demanding job and is not for everyone. Technicians must be capable of lifting and moving heavy materials (drywall, furniture, debris, equipment, etc.) while wearing PPE and respirators.
Work may involve:
- Demolition work.
- Climbing ladders.
- Working in attics/crawlspaces.
- Fast-paced cleanup environments.
- Long periods of standing, lifting, bending, and carrying equipment/materials.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be dependable and hard-working.
- Maintain professionalism around clients experiencing stressful property damage situations.
- Be comfortable working in dirty or challenging environments.
- Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Employees who successfully complete training and probation may be eligible for industry certifications and pay increases.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to travel throughout Southern California as needed.
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test.
Most projects are located within Los Angeles County, though occasional travel to Kern County, Ventura County, Tulare County, Lancaster, Bakersfield, Fresno, and surrounding areas may be required. Additional travel compensation may apply.
